Tom Wilner is the managing partner of the International Trade and Government Relations Practice at Shearman & Sterling in Washington, D.C. He was one of the first lawyers to represent detainees and was part of the original team that brought the initial Guantanamo case before the U.S. Supreme Court (and won).
